Statistical Research Manager/Director

Consumer Health Sciences (CHS) is a small entrepreneurial company, that is part of a large multinational advertising and marketing company, and is focused on providing patient information and consulting services to the healthcare industry. The flagship product of CHS, the National Health and Wellness Survey (NHWS), has fielded annually since 1998 and is the largest healthcare database of patient reported information in the USA and Europe.

The Statistical Research Manager/Director is a position in CHS that will support the explosive growth we have experienced in analysis and publication of NHWS and related offerings. The employee will be responsible for understanding client business issues and conducting multivariate research analyses to address these issues. The ideal candidate will contribute broadly to the advancement of CHS including participating in new product development, CHS driven publications and operations improvements in a collegial and supportive work environment.

This is an opportunity to utilize advanced statistical and analytical skills to solve important client problems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop customized analyses and provide consultative support to internal and external clients

•Support the development of abstracts, posters, and presentations for industry conferences

•Support the development of manuscripts for submission to peer reviewed journals

•Propose and develop research plans that will lead to ongoing business

•Provide consultation to internal data quality processes

Job requirements:

•Ph.D. (Statistics / Mathematics / Psychometrics / Econometrics / Biostatistics) or equivalent (Master's Degree with 2-3 years experience).

• Quantitative pharmaceutical outcomes research experience desired

• Strong analytical skills, including multivariate techniques

• Proficiency in SAS required

Salary commensurate with experience.
